MFM GIVES 30K TO EMORY BRAIN HEALTH CENTER

There is hope for those battling a debilitating brain disease like ALS, Parkinson's, PSP and Alzheimer's. The Miracle for Mom Foundation gave a $30,000 donation to the Emory Brain Health Center in Atlanta this month for research purposes.

The big check was presented to Dr. Stewart Factor and his team with the movement disorder program. They plan to use the funding to help better diagnose and treat all brain diseases.

“$30,000 is huge,” Dr. Factor said. “we have programs now developing new imaging to make the right diagnosis. In order to cure these diseases we have to diagnose them first.”

During the past two years, The Miracle for Mom Foundation has given a total of $50,000 to the Emory Brain Health Center to assist them with their research efforts as they strive to find treatment and a cure for all brain diseases.
